The Giver, By J. K. Rowling: An Analysis

My first favorite text of literary would gladly have to be not a book, but a series and that’s the Harry Potter series. I love the books that are written by J.K. Rowling, I find the books to be very fascinating to read because you are allowed to escape the aspect of reality and to be a part of the world of Hogwarts. Well other than the fact that it’s science-fiction, it also has real life places involved in the series as well. Just like the use of London, it’s used as the home of Harry Potter and one of his really good friends, Hermione Granger, the two of them are indeed from London, which is an actual place in England which is also the general idea of where the series takes place in. I really like the series because it has a lot of different aspects that are involved in the series like family, blood status, all of that sorta plays a role in the series because in real life it happens as well like in royal families. For my second piece of literary that I enjoyed would have to be “The Giver”, a Utopian world that was later found out to be a Dystopian society where when you turn 12 years old, there’s a whole thing being held for them to determine what their life would …show more content…
Scott Fitzgerald. The book is clearly set in New York in the 1920’s and it focuses around a good couple of characters such as Jay Gatsby, Daisy and Tom Buchanan, Nick Carraway and Daisy’s friend, Jordan Baker. In the beginning of the book you get to meet Nick, who lives in the West Egg part of the two Eggs in New York for a whole year free, which that is being paid from his dad. The West Egg is where Jay Gatsby also lives at and it’s not really liked by the old money people such as the Rockefeller 's or the Carnegie’s. One thing that this has taught me that you can be rich and get everything in the world that you want, but as for love, it has a price and some people can’t have it or ever achieve
