The line “I don’t want to go to school” is heard too often. This phrase is heard every day and it is in every part of the world. As a child the last thing you want to do is get out of bed and go to school and sit through classes like math and social studies. Little do they know that the skills developed in grade school are necessary to function properly in society. Some of the fundamental skills that are developed in grade school which are necessary to function in society are reading, writing and learning how to tell time. Without these simple skills it would be impossible to complete daily tasks and to obtain a job. The next stage of schooling that follows elementary school is junior high, it is here where a student learns to be more mature and starts to realize what happens in the world around them. The next stage of schooling is high school; it is here where a student will become more self-sufficient and develop a better understanding of critical thinking skills. The final stage of education is college and is the most unattended. In college a student can advance his or her career to be whatever they desire, at this time students are almost always completely on their own and have endless opportunities. In college students will build their character and their time management skills. College also opens job opportunities that can financially support you throughout your whole life.
