Goal Definition
An observable and measurable end result having one or more objectives to be achieved within a more or less fixed timeframe. (Business Dictionary, 2016). The object of person’s ambition or effort; an aim or desired result (Oxford Dictionary, 2016).

A goal is a desired result that a person or a system envisions, plans and commits to achieve: a personal or organizational desired end-point in some sort of assumed development. Many people endeavor to reach goals within a finite time by setting deadlines. (Wikipedia, 2016).

Goals are the vehicle which successful persons use to reach their ultimate destination. GoalSetting provides direction, purpose, and motivation. (Shippensburg University, 2016). A goal ca be characterized as a particular desired achievement over a characterized period of time. (David, 1996). Objectives and goals make the bite size pieces, the guide and reasonable venturing stones to accomplish the mission, make the vision a reality, and explore the course we have set for our business (Grusenmeyer, 2009). Locke and Latham proposed,” A goal is characterized just as what the individual is deliberately attempting to do. The structure in which one experience, one 's quality judgments is passionate. That is, one 's qualities make a craving to do things predictable with them. (Lunenburg, 2011).
