Foundation Turned Tinted Moisturizer

Most women spend a sizeable amount of money on beauty products every year. Between makeup, hair products and nail salon visits, it's easy to rack up thousands of dollars spent by the end of one year. Because so much money goes into purchasing all of these products and services, it makes sense for any woman to try and make them last for as long as possible. Approximately 75% of women don't finish all of their beauty products before they expire. While products do have an expiration date, there are little tricks you can use to make sure your beauty products don't go to waste completely. If you've ever run into an issue like one of these below, utilize the solutions and experience the beauty of repurposing and repairing.

1. Foundation Turned Tinted Moisturizer

Use an inexpensive concealer to cover scars, redness and discoloration. Blend the concealer into the skin well. Then, add a bit of foundation to an off-brand moisturizer. The result will be a light and tinted moisturizer you can easily use on your skin. It'll offer light coverage and still include the shade of your favorite foundation without spending the big bucks all over again.

2. Broken Eye Shadow Put Together Again
Whether it was placed in the purse on-the-go or if it was hanging out in the bottom of your makeup bag, it's not uncommon for eyeshadow to get crushed. Once it gets crushed, it becomes a loose powder that can get really messy and all over the place. This doesn't have to be your reality. Take the broken eyeshadow and add some rubbing alcohol to the mixture. Put it all into a small bowl and combine the two until they become a paste. Then, add the paste back into the original makeup casing and leave it to set. The alcohol will eventually evaporate and your eyeshadow will be brand-new again.
