Apply Makeup Research Paper

I have been using makeup since the last couple months that I was in sixth grade. I did not absolutely require makeup, but I figured I’d have to come across it one way or another down the road. I have come to realize that there is not a perfect way to apply makeup, but there is a way to do your makeup to where it fits you and what you desire to look like. First, you want to choose a primer, which gives you a fresh start when applying your makeup, the correct liquid foundation and face powder that matches your skin tone so that it blends well, a powder brush, your choice of blush, any mascara, and lipstick if that is what you like. If you are having trouble discovering which liquid foundation matches your skin tone the best, just squirt a small amount onto to the top of your hand and rub it in. If it blends in well, you have found your perfect match! Now that you have all these materials, we can finally begin our tutorial. You would want to apply a small amount of your chosen primer on the tips of your fingers, and apply it across your entire face in circular motions. Allow the primer to dry before beginning to apply your liquid foundation. When applying your liquid …show more content…
It is even worse when you barely move your hand and accidentally get mascara rubbed on your makeup. If your mascara is too heavy you can always use a towel or some type of cloth to gently surround the brush and remove the excessive amount that you need to take off. This will come in handy if you do not like your mascara too thick or heavy. Slowly stroke one eyelash at a time with the brush until they both appear to be the way you want them. While allowing your lashes to dry, you can apply your lipstick starting from the middle of the top lip making your way down to the bottom lip. Now that you have completed this tutorial, you can try it yourself and look even more beautiful than you already

Because eyes are a really sensitive part of the human body, every single kind of makeup you apply on or around them must be of a good quality and tried first. While using the eyeliner pencil, be sure that it's not very sharp or way too dull. If you do not have an eye pencil sharpener , and have to select from a sharp and a dull pencil, always decide on the dull one. It is because using a really sharp eye pencil is definitely a risk, even professionals with practiced hands, dull them using a tissue or surface before using them. This makes the applying less difficult where the eyeliner is gentle enough to easily glide on.…

The first time I used it, I used E.L.F. Mineral Face Primer as my base. While applying the foundation with a damp beauty blender from Ulta (I don't like brushes as they tend to leave brush strokes on my face and don't pick up excess foundation) I found that it's really easy to blend, it's true to color, and it's buildable (light to medium coverage). I like a more full coverage, so I was a tad disappointed, it wasn't anything that concealer couldn't fix, but I also liked that you could get a light coverage on days you might want a lighter look. I loved that it was light weight.…
