Both of these women's fights are prevalent in the present as many girls are speaking out against rape and shaming which is relatable to Medea’s situation as they are looking for justice in both cases. Lysistrata is comparable to underdeveloped countries where women are treated as less and are unable to speak up and make a stand without ridicule the way Lysistrata was mocked for being a woman because she was taking a stand.
