“And death, not Romeo, take my maidenhead” ( Crowther) Juliet said this because she had to marry Paris. Throughout the play two families fight. A son from one family and a daughter from the other fall in love. They secretly get married and only two people know about it. This continues until the father makes the daughter marry another guy. The night before the wedding she fakes her death and the son from the other family kills himself over her tomb. She wakes up, finds him dead, and stabs herself. The only people who could have prevented this were themselves. Some people might think that Lord Capulet and Montague are at fault. They might think that because they started the feud between the families and could not stop it. They are wrong because …show more content…
He is the one who killed Tybalt and got himself banished. Mercutio and Tybalt were dueling and Romeo tried to break it up, but Tybalt ended up stabbing Mercutio. Romeo tracked down Tybalt and killed him. If he would not have done that, Juliet would not have waken up next to her dead husband. Romeo was banished and Lord Capulet told Juliet she would marry Paris. She refused and she faked her death by drinking a potion that makes her seem lifeless. She would then wake up next to a dead Romeo and Paris because Romeo and Paris fought and Paris lost and was killed. Romeo then committed Suicide. “What light yonder breaks? It is the east and Juliet is the sun” (Crowther) Romeo compared Juliet to the sun when his head was filled with darkness and sadness just hours ago. Romeo is fickle. Juliet is the spark to the fuel. Once Romeo got an eye on her, he went face first into love land. When Romeo crashed the Capulet ball, he saw Juliet and he automatically loved her. If she had told Romeo to go away instead of love talking to him, the ending would be different. Romeo went to the Capulet orchard after the ball to find Juliet. He found her on top of a balcony.
