Factors Affecting The Middle Childhood Age Essay

The middle childhood age from 6-12 years can be a big challenge for most kids. This is the time that kids start to develop their personality and given more responsibility. Parents start demanding more from their children by giving them chores and allowances. The chores may seems as punishment to kids but, it’s supposed to develop responsibility. Parents hope that an allowance will motivate their children to complete all of their chores with no complaint. This should teach kids that, if you do not work, you do not eat. Another issue that might play a major role within the middle childhood age is their peers. Peers can influence any kid to become dishonest, disrespectful or make a positive impact on their lives.
With middle childhood development there are a few factors that has been researched and proven true about the process. In this paper I will talk about the factors affect physical development, also the factors affect cognitive development, how factors affect social, moral, and personality development, and I will describe the factors by explaining at least two theoretical perspectives associated with social, moral, and personality development. There will be some ups and some downs when it comes to middle childhood development and I will do my best to give you the best information.
