After an accident, a 17 years old girl, Joni, get a quadriplegic, paralyzed from her shoulders down, Which means she basically lost her self-care ability. She felt despair about life and considered to take euthanasia. So what is euthanasia? Base on Christian worldview, does euthanasia should be allowed? What could Joni do? What could Joni’s experience bring to normal people? And what is euthanasia looks like under another worldview?
Ethical Dilemma
Euthanasia is a technical processing that focus on how to end up a life easily and painless. That is why it is also called “mercy killing” However, this processing leads out a lot of confusion in today’s social. On one hand, people thought it is fair and kindness to help people ending up their pain under their permissions. On the other hand, people understand whatever reasons or opinions they are holding to, this is still a murder.

Although, death is one way to solve a bunch of social and personal problems. Death is still peoples’ enemy( 1 Corinthians 15:26 NIV) And life is a sacred gift from God ( Genesis2: 7 NIV) Whatever people are suffering on, they should never give up this gift and embraces the cures. Also, even the person who wants to take the euthanasia do not have that right, as God said "No man has power over the wind to contain it; so no one has power over the day of his death. "( 1 Corinthians 15:26 NIV) The authority of the end of life is always belong to God. People should never attempt to get that authority from God.
