Winston Churchill’s military experience helped him with his leadership. He did not progress in school but he excelled in the military school. He worked with Woodrow Wilson and showed his leadership in the world. But, at the beginning of WWII he showed leadership by stopping Hitler. “ After a sensational rise to prominence in national politics before WWI, Churchill acquired a reputation for erratic judgement in the war itself and in the decade that followed. Politically suspect in consequence, he was a lonely figure until his response to Adolf Hitler’s challenge bought him to leadership of national coalition in 1940.” (Churchill). None of the other leader stepped up and showed leadership by trying to stop Adolf Hitler. But, Winston Churchill stepped up and showed leadership. By holding the Germans off until the United States join the war he helped the Allied Powers win the war. Winston Churchill proved he was not scared of any countries outside of Britain. Winston Churchill planned strategies and saw countries weaknesses. He made plans the other leaders could not. He won both world wars for the Allied Powers.
