The title The Lincoln Myth is a really good title. It supports a good deal of what is going on in the book so far and it leaves the reader questioning why it is a myth. The author also does a really good job of making the reader question how the mystery will unfold into the Myth. During the novel there is a plot that is unfolding in America and in Denmark. They are both closely related to each other and the agents that are slowly starting to comprehend what is happening in America are learning even more about what is happening in Denmark. So far the book has not really dealt with Lincoln whatsoever and it was confusing to me why the author would include his name in the title if he didn’t use him at all in the beginning of the book. Though the use of Lincoln would drastically change, as I got farther into the book. There started to be more and more conspiracies on the fact that maybe Lincoln also almost killed the country completely because of some of the actions that he did while he was serving the country. One of the popular believes was that Lincoln almost allowed the secession of the Southern States to be legal because of a Supreme Court ruling. Now Lincoln didn’t have a huge role in this but this is one of his biggest moments in the book so far for Lincoln. Though Lincoln has not played a huge role so far which is why I think the title should be changed to The Myth or The
