With looking at many of the concepts we had discussed in lecture, I was able to compare it to my own family and see their real life application. At the end of each interview, I asked each interviewee the same question, “If there was something you could change about your life, what would it be?” In each person’s response, including myself, I received the same answer of “spending more time with my family.” This was a surprising find, for each of my family members, even with all the bad decisions they had made, or struggles they faced, both wished they could have spent more time with family. However, with the changing times to post-nuclear trends, it is clear to see how the family has radically weakened, which means spending less time with the family.
