When children played with friends they normally made games up with tennis balls and sticks (“If Children”). Parents preferred that their kids did not watch television. They are multiple ways why parenting has changed throughout the years, but the two main reasons would have to be technology and work. Children would rather spend so much time on their phones or on the computer. They do not listen to their parents; therefore, the parents give up. Parents do not have the time to fight and argue with their children because they have to work really early and super late.
Work has parents away from their children so much that their children just do not care about what they have to say. Most parents leave work to go to work early in the morning and when they get home that night, they are too tired to ask their kids how their day was.
