Now a days the children have grown to reply on the technology '' while these programs can teach us new things and make learning fun, there are several downsides to watching too much television '' the bad thing about it is that it does not start with the child asking for the phone or tablet its the parents who are giving it to their child without them having to ask. It is not just on their televisions its even on apps so you can now take it on the go. Two examples that really stuck out to me that I can honestly and truthly relate to first hand was that '' kids who watch a lot of television may experience a more unfulfilling social life, because they tend to isolate themselves in order to pay attention to what they are watching.'' and the other one that the article mentions is that '' children who watch more television have Lower grades and a decrease in school performance can be linked to students replacing their study and homework time with more television '' mainly because when i first started high school I use to be like that a lot I would much rather stay at home and watch television then be out with my friends or doing homework because I was so caught up in my television shows that I never wanted to do anything else but mostly since I was always a sleep or taking cat naps here and there never really paying attention in class because I was always tied, never wanting to do anything but sleep or watch my television and eventually ended up failing and always getting in trouble with my parents and teachers which made me have to do double the work and retake all my courses that i failed so that i could be able to even catch up or even graduate with my graduating class since I chose to slack on my school work I put my self in
