Johnathan’s son and now ex-wife used to live with my client. The client’s ex-wife left Johnathan, and moved to Arizona. Zayden was soon detained by Arizona child welfare services. The client’s ex-wife did not meet the basic needs for Zayden, and neglected the home conditions. Arizona asked Erie County to conduct a home study on my client’s home. I assessed the home to see if it met the basic needs. I referred my client to Erie County’s family services. Where family services can better help with the family reunification process with Johnathan and his son Zayden. Family Services gave Johnathan activities and information including the family reunification process with his son. The family reunification journal article is both empirical and qualitative methodology approaches. The empirical research approach was to observe and measure children and youth currently living in out of home placement. The family’s involvement in the transitional process, as well as improvement are being monitored in the journal article.
