Effective snorkerling techniques

Which finning techniques did you use while snorkelling at rottnest? Discuss the benefits of each of these.
During my time at Rottnest I used 3 snorkelling techniques which allowed my to protect myself and my equipment, keep the coral and environment healthy and to also maintain energy. These three techniques include of
Flutter Kick
Scissor Kick
Frog Kick

When I started using the flutter kick technique, the main benefit that I noticed was the strength and power I was getting out of each kick. This technique helped me to produced more propulsion, enabling me to glide along the flora and fauna. It is also helpful when diving near steep vertical edges and or needing a short burst of speed.
