Temperatures drop. Security is provided. Spa like grainy particles generate therapeutic emotions. Comfort seeps through the crisp clean air coming from the atmosphere. Esthetic value is supplied and creates a picture of a desirable getaway. The beach. These are just the fundamental objectives of why individuals invest time and money into traveling to the oceans. However, fun in the sun can quickly vanish when concepts like quality of water, sun detection, and possibilities of sand-hole collapses hit the surface. During vacations, traveling to oceans for a quick departure should be avoided as it can be hostile to health of families through threats coming from particles in and outside of the water along with the negative effects of sun exposure.

Based on a report conducted by The Tribune, Pismo Beach is ranked tenth of the most polluted waters in California. The adulteration is caused by impurities that are streaming the ocean waters in which ventured through storm drains of runoff water. To go more in depth, water qualities of Pismo is measured through samples coming from the salty liquid that is analyzed by color, odor, turbidity, and acidity. Depending on the value, waters with poor conditions can become infected with bacteria that can cause infectious illnesses. Illnesses like “stomach flu, ear infections, and skin rashes” advocating that serious cons of vacationing at the beach are hazardous to children and adults.
