When I first found Cornell, I was a little bit intimidated because I knew that I would be looking to challenge an Incredibly talented applicant pool and my scores were not up to par (I like to be realistic) but I decided to push through with my application because i knew the college comprised of everything that makes it an Ideal place for me: a rich cultural milieu of students from different racial, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds with disparate ideas and life experiences which when shared could open a whole new world of possibilities to us in science; an erudite faculty who get to work with vast resources; and the luxury of living and learning in a beautiful in a beautiful college town.
Conclusively, I applied to Cornell's college of arts and sciences because it is a college that will help me relish the liberty of dabbling in the things that mystify me, having within and around the campus, a diverse mix of people with whom I can engage in science at the forefront of Scientific Innovation given the resources available that will help us build for ourselves a highly Individualized and rewarding undergraduate course of
