Learning disorders have always been a major field of interest when it comes to teaching, be it ESL, EFL or general teaching. What has been noticed in the last decade is that classrooms with students that experience learning disabilities have increased and thus I have decided to investigate the topic of EFL and learning disabilities, dyslexia in particular, in an effort to cater to the dyslexic students’ needs for my own development. However, it should be kept in mind that not all students with dyslexia are the same or even have the same needs. Some principles, though, are universal and apply to the majority of dyslexic students.
