For many years, we have been seeing a rise in the prevalence of domestic violence in our societies. In addition, women have been the main target for many years more than men were in a domestic violence. According to the “Get the Facts and Figures” article, on average, there are nearly 15% of women and 4% of men in the US who have experienced rape, physical violence, and stalking by their intimate partner in their lifetime (Hotline). There are about 12 million people who get affected by intimate partner violence each year. Looking at this statistics, we can definitely say that how women were being affected more by this domestic violence than men, as many people think women are weak, they have no option to leave or have no place to live, in which they tend to endure the violence. Every year, we have been seeing an increase in domestic violence against women more than men. Moreover, in the United States, there are about half of the population where women and men have skilled psychological aggression by intimate partner. Also, females from age 18-24 and 25-34 have skilled the highest rates of intimate partner violence each year. There are other types of domestic violence that has affected many people in our societies such as sexual violence, stalking, rape etc. In sexual violence, there are nearly 81% of the women who have skilled rape, physical violence, and stalking by an intimate partner which has caused them stress and depression; therefore, most of the women were affected…
