Differences Between Anne Frank Movie And Movie

Imagine going into hiding for months or even years. Imagine having to be completely quiet most of the time because every little noise made could put everyone’s lives in danger. This was the life that many Jews had to live. In 1933, a man by the name of Adolf Hitler came to power in Germany and destroyed the lives of many innocent Jewish citizens. One of these people being a young girl named Anne Frank. Annelies Marie Frank was born on June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany. Anne and her family went into hiding when her older sister, Margot, got a call-up. Later, they were joined by the Van Daan’s and Mr. Dussel. While in hiding, Anne expressed her thoughts and feelings in a diary, which she named Kitty. This diary later influenced a movie. In the movie, Anne is somewhat well behaved and doesn 't stir up a lot of trouble, but in the diary, Anne is shown to be an annoying and talkative person. In the diary it states,”I [Anne] seem to have enough mischief in me. Mummy and Daddy tell me that I mustn 't talk so much, that I must be more retiring and not poke my nose into everything (Frank 31).” Mrs. Van Daan wasn 't shown to be a really disagreeable and moody woman in the movie. But in the diary, Mrs. Van Daan gets into large amounts of arguments. Anne says,”Mummy agreed with this too. But Mrs. Van Daan had to add, as always, her ideas on the subject (33).”Anne also describes Mrs. Van Daan as moody and she wrote,”Mrs. Van Daan had another tantrum. She is terribly moody (30).” Another difference with Mrs. Van Daan is that in the diary she is more concious of her belongings, but in the movie, it isn 't shown that she is. Anne wrote,”She [Mrs.Van Daan] keeps hiding more of her personal belongings
