How Conflict Affects People

Conflict can affect people in any existing situation. Conflict can prove a person's character, challenge their beliefs, and can fracture relationships. It can make a very big impact on someone’s life and can cause affect more than people truly notice. Anne Frank and the people around her can be great examples of conflict affecting people. Family dynamics can also have an effect because of conflict, an example would be the Van Dans. Being traumatized can also be an effect of conflict. Always arguing and yelling at each other cause the Van Dans to fracture their relationship and cause lots of issues with their family dynamics. In the film version of Anne Frank’s Diary the Van Dans have a lot of arguments and always have something to but heads about. This causes quite a few issues with their family. A character that is most affected by this is their son Peter. Many times Peter is the one to blame or is always getting dragged into the existing argument. Peter tends to hide from the conflict or ignore it tending to run away from it showing and proving his character.
