Krystyna was a girl who survived the Holocaust by living in a sewage drain for a little over a year. But eventually, she became free at the end of the war. Before going into hiding, she lived in a town called Lvov in Poland with her brother Pawelek and her mom and dad. One advantage Krystyna had was sewage workers helped her family by bringing them food and other necessities. Krystyna was able to survive because she was able to withstand whatever the sewer brought to her. Krystyna was another girl who went to the extreme to survive the Holocaust.
Next, the stories Anne and Krystyna’s stories both had many similarities. One being Anne and Krystyna both being Jews. Another being Anne and Krystyna having to deal with their families. Also, Anne and Krystyna had to be completely silent during their hiding. Like many Holocaust stories, Anne and Krystyna did many similar things during this harsh period.
