She pays her tithes and offering and can deacon just as well. I was going to a Missionary Baptist church and women did things which I consider good. Did not a woman carry the message that Jesus the Christ, our savior, and our messiah still lives? If Christ thought well of them and trusted Mary Magdalena to carry the word He has risen, all should trust women as he did. Baptist church boards are made up of a lot of men who do not see women but in traditional ways. Have they not once said maybe we are wrong? As of 1985, the A. M. E. Church had thirteen episcopal districts within the United State. In contrast, the black denominations, bishops of the United Methodist Church (U. M. C.) are elected by five jurisdictional conferences, rather than the General Conference. Annual conferences may encompass all or a portion of a state. The delegates to the annual conferences convene once a year. The base step on the connectional ladder, usually called the church conference, consists of all the members of a local church (Lincoln, C. Eric, and Lawrence H. Mamiya 69-70).
I do not agree so much with all the rules and regulations on how to carry out the church. They conduct business like this must take place to carry on a church. I believe if they pray instead of relying on who was appointed to be district and all names of the church. The church would continue growing in an upward stream. These communities gather and makeup By-Laws on how the ministers, churches, Sunday school, and other groups in
