One of the few factors is location. Location plays a role in the development of a monument. The structure, for instance the Christopher Columbus statue proudly stands elevated over the Riverside Park of Pennsylvania fearless and confident. Location near or in a big city is more significant for the civilization. This is because more people would have access to the monument. The formation of a Monument is based on certain elements within that structure. A well known memorial would be Mount Rushmore. A certain number of the population believe Mount Rushmore is not built correctly. “Mount Rushmore bothers me.
