After watching Vietnam Nurses with Dana Delany, these eight nurses are heroes. These eight women are heroes because, they volunteered to join the military because they felt they would be needed. Two of these eight nurses are heroes because even when they got back to the United States, some women went back in to continue to help their solider. They saw and done things that were beyond their training abilities and they used themselves as human shields in a heroic act to keep their patients safe.
