P.T.S.D. is a disorder caused by a traumatic event that happens in someone's life time. Some symptoms are; events or flashbacks, avoiding people and events that remind them of the trauma, and easily angered plus trouble sleeping.

This study has proved that the ones who were involved in the war had more effect and the ones that did served but were not deployed didn't get too affected. This study also lead to help develop studies on how to determine long term effects of P.T.S.D.
When the soldiers were returning they didn't have much help from the media they made is exceptionally hard for them to forget what happen. They would make movies about the war that portrayed vivid images to what actually happened in war.
American Veterans are suffered from P.T.S.D.. ,the disease made it hard for the homecoming of veterans to be smooth. These soldiers were drafted by the U.S. military to help them in the war against South Vietnam. In recent events in history we have seen that there has been lack of care for our soldiers coming home but now with these government studies based on P.T.S.D. We have now realize that this disorder need much more attention.
The Vietnam war had started when the the rise of Ho Chi Minh was rising into communist power in the northern Vietnam, which caused the United States to go into a cold war with the Soivent Union.
When these soldiers went into war they didn't see the consequences when they came home many of them felt alienated
