Ethics, a set of morals, that governs behavior of an individual, involves systematizing, defending, and recommending concepts that’s related to right and wrong behaviors. Computers designed to help lighten our burden in the ever rush gathering of information in a timely manner to helping us stay connected to each other are often used for unintended or harmful purposes. Computer ethics, consideration of both personal and social policies for the ethical use of computer technology, regulates how computers should be used. It highlights how issues such as intellectual property rights, privacy concerns, and how computers affect society’s behavior. As technology advances so do the discussion of how much we are influenced by it. In computer ethics, common issues such as harassment, plagiarism, cybercrimes, and privacy concerns has become ever-growing as computer technology grows. Issues of computer ethics happens anywhere. From home, school, or work; any of these areas some may encounter a range of unethical behavior, bullying or harassment. Throughout the years this behavior has been conducted at work and social media, which for some time was easy, even undetected. There’s individuals that sits behind a screen name and pretend to be someone else with no morals or ethics about them that will purposely try and hurt someone emotionally and mentally to cause them harm with the use of vulgar hurtful words or actions.
