Initially, when I sat down to write this, I commenced to compare Democracy with Communism, I contemplated why compare the two, we recognize through this country’s history the what differences exist. Therefore, in no way can our history books be questioned when it approaches to the topic of Democracy or can it? Thinking back to Plato, in his Republic, tells us that tyranny arises, as a rule, from democracy. Thinking through all kinds of historical documents for example the Constitution, along with the Declaration of Independence, and the Emancipation Proclamation and what each means to this country’s Democratic tradition. However, let us remind ourselves Native Americans, Africans, Asian, and European shed their blood in the soils of each state of the union, to construct this mighty country.
Amazingly 1% of the population can control the thoughts of 99%, by pushing hands up the rear end of politicians resembling puppets. Our government told us we’re going to spread democracy in the middle east, in Russia and around the world, this bothered me a great deal, and I often wondered in whose greatest interest would that be in?
In conclusion, Democracy in my opinion means of the people for the people. The working class of people, democracy should not remain controlled by the owners of media corporations, or department store chains. To put the subject in simpler terms, if you rise up and be required to work for a living regardless of how you make a living, and you don’t own a Baseball, Football, Basketball or Hockey Team, you’re working or middle class! Our Democracy has been poisoned by power money, and greed, and I pray that on election day we come to be corrected. That is up to the people who understand what democracy is and how to stifle Tyranny. Listen closely to what each candidate has
