The communicator style that is a fit for me is the sensor style because I do stay on point with the message and elaborate on the goals for the organization and team. One of the traits that I possess is that I am results-driven and detailed-oriented with communication and the action that supports the message. The expectations are the same for the team and we will build the team around these and several other traits and styles. The sensor is conscientious and will observe others sometimes before making a conscious decision. In the audience some examples of these styles are people who are enticed by conversation pertaining to results and action (Hilling, A., 2014). Being organized and structured compliments this style in my opinion.
When it comes to my style of learning I am a kinesthetic learner. I love hands on activity and that on the job tasks when it comes to training. The power points and screen shots on the overhead projector are great but it still is not complete for me unless I can navigate personally through the process and learn as I go. Just like during a presentation and hand-outs are given to the audience is an example of a kinesthetic learner.
