Irrespective of the array of approaches to change management, there are models that can be used as a guide for delivering successful change in CIBCFCIB processes. The objective of this plan is intended to address the opportunity or loss that change brings to organisations whether public or private and to prepare staff engagement to achieve successful transformation. Change can arise from both internal and external factors. The external sources include technological advances, social, political and economic pressures likewise the internal sources of the organisation encounters matters such as performance issues, changing customer needs and cost (PSC.qld.gov, 2016). Notwithstanding, all changes, whether from large or small organisations must adopt to new mindsets, processes, policies, practices and behaviours (PSC.qld.gov, 2016). Furthermore, it is important to note that change management involves functioning with stakeholders to assist them understand what the change means and how it will benefit them. This will aid everyone to get on board and sustain the transition and working to overcome any resistances (PSC.qld.gov, 2016). There are several models and theories about change management, each approach as it advantages and disadvantages, yet no single framework is best in all situations. Certainly, it is not so much the actual model that is significant, but more that the glide path that is studied is relevant to the circumstances (PSC.qld.gov, 2016). …show more content…
