Management communicated the change, prepared us for the change and gave us the proper training. The planning of the transition has lessened the fear I have about the change. The change has improved our skills, improved efficiency and increased flexibility.
In some organizations, the process of implementing changes occur erratically and rapidly while other organizations plan the process. For those companies who do the changes erratically and rapidly face resistance from employees. To sum it up, my personal experience with changes were mixed. As my results of the RTC questionnaire indicate, I had a bit of fear of changes at the beginning. I did not resist the changes because management gave us an input or saying of the planning process, gave us proper training and communicated the process to everyone involved (Fitzgerald, M., Kruschwitz, N., Bonnet, D., & Welch, M. (October 7). However, I embrace and accept the changes when I see the changes benefits the organizations as well as the employees.
