1. Christianity originate from Judaism. Judaea was a Roman province, and the Emperor of Rome was the ruler. At that time, the Israelites didn’t like the roman rule, so they were waiting at the messiah to save them from oppression, and to establish a paradise on earth. Jesus of Nazareth was a Palestinian Jew, but he grew up in a place called Galilee. He started to preach at a young age. Jesus didn’t come to abolish the law of the old prophets, but he came to achieve them. His message was very simple. He preached about humility, charity and brotherly love. Some of the preaching of Jesus of Nazareth were; Don’t do anything to others, if you don’t want others to do it to you. He wants us to love one another. To love God with all our hearts and with all our souls and with all our minds and with all our strength. Jesus of Nazareth wants us to love our neighbors just like we love ourselves. Jesus of Nazareth message transform the Roman world to become a part of Western Civilization. Paul was a Jewish Roman citizen, but he was influenced by Hellenistic Greek culture. The apostle Paul called the “second founder of Christianity” because he was the one who spread Jesus’s idea. He believed that the message of Jesus should be preached to everyone, whether the person was Jews or not.
