China’s Cultural Awareness The People’s Republic of China is the third largest country in the world and considered the Middle Kingdom. With bordering thirteen countries to include Russia, Mongolia, India, Myanmar, Laos, and Korea. It also borders the Yellow Sea, the South China Sea, and the East China Sea. The People’s Republic of China is composed with many different terrains such as tropical, desert, mountains, plains, and hills. The highest point being Mt. Everest between Tibet and Nepal. The country has two regions which are called Inner China and Outer China. Same is size a majority of the population lives in Inner China and divided by the Great Wall of China. The People’s Republic of China has a variety of species like the panda, golden monkey, tigers, alligators, and the red-crowned crane. Bicycles are the most popular choice of transportation cutting back on air pollution. The food that is consume consists of mainly rice and wheat. During which sometimes shrimp, vegetables, and pickles are known to be added. Meat is very expensive and distributed sparingly. Food tends to be spicy and the most popular dishes served are smoked duck, frogs’ legs, and shrimp with salt and garlic. The Chinese eat several parts of species that other cultures do not, fish heads and eyeballs, birds feet and saliva, and dog and cat meat.
