His observation has confirmed that Darwin/Wallace evolutionary theory is correct. It also means every species living in the universe are interconnected including human. Basically, the ideas of Darwin, Wallace, and Force once again supported the truth that humans are a part of nature. Therefore, whatever humans do will absolutely affect the whole ecosystem. Indeed, in “ Man and Nature”, Gorge Perkins Marsh has mentioned about the destruction of nature caused by humans, he said “we produce the disturbance in the harmonies of nature when we throw the smallest pebble in the ocean,” “man alone is… essentially a destructive power,” and “human irreparably derange the balance and proportion of nature” (Lecture, 10/6/15). To Marsh, humans can never control nature. Therefore, human destruction should be balanced by compensation (Lecture, 10/6/15).
