Florida alone is already a populous state, in addition to the rapid increase of immigrants, it is causing an immense traffic infrastructure. Florida has 5.5% of nation’s population, but just 2.8% are road mileages ( Martin, Bouvier, Leonard). A typical American owns about 2-5 cars per family. An immigrant family owns about 1-2 cars. As population increase, people are more likely to buy more vehicles for the family which will cause more traffic issues.
