This is an ethical concern because Gary isn’t a bad guy and he wants to do what is right and he knows that taking care of his new family is what he is supposed to do. However, Gary isn’t fit to be a provider or to raise a family because he lacks the education and knowledge to do so. Their focus is to allow pregnant moms and parenting fathers to finish high school and developing a plan for life after high school while giving them life skills and helping them to achieve self-sufficiency (Chicago Child Care Society, 2016).
