“I get to take care of patients with cancer, which is something I have always wanted to do.” Dr. Rebecca Tuttle on why she wanted to become a surgical oncologist.
Rebecca Tuttle is a trained surgical oncologist specializing in breast cancer. She earned her medical degree from the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine. She also completed a surgical oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo. Tuttle is certified by the American Board of Surgery. She is also an Assistant Professor at Wright State University. She currently is taking new patients at the Kettering Medical Center, and Miami Valley Hospital South.
Rebecca is currently looking for new patients. When asked “What makes her different from other doctors and physicians.” She explained saying “The majority of surgeons in this area are not fellowship trained and work in a private practice-type environment.” She explains that she is more trained than majority of the surgeons in this area. She is also an academic surgeon. This means that she is board certified in general surgery. She not only has the experience and credibility, she is a part of a board that majority of surgeons in this area is not a part of.
While interview Tuttle she explained that she would like acquire her master’s in public health which would eventually lead to her becoming a full time professor. “I intend to continue my academic career and ultimately get promoted to full professor.” Rebecca exclaimed. The reason she would…
