Burmese Python Affecting The Everglades

Think of a telephone pole then imagine a snake as big around the middle of the pole. Almost 23 feet long! Guess what that's the Burmese python. Huge Right? I am now going to tell you about how the Burmese python is affecting the Everglades.
The Burmese python can eat more animals. The newspaper article states,”Burmese pythons are carnivores and survive primarily an small birds and mammals. This shows that as the pythons feed on those small birds and mammals they can have them extinct in the everglades. The newspaper article also states,” The python's unique hinged jaws allow it to swallow an object five time as wide as its own head. which means that Burmese pythons can harmfully kill and help animals go extinct.” This proves that a mammal five times the size of a Burmese python can go extinct because of how wide the Burmese pythons mouth can get.

The newspaper article states, "With no natural predators, these eating machines appear to be wiping out huge numbers of possums, raccoons, and bobcats, as well as many bird species." This shows that with no natural predators the Burmese pythons will find new prey and those prey can soon also become extinct or at least move out of the Everglades. The newspaper article also states," Where they thrive in the warm, humid climate..." This shows that every animal in the warm Everglades and are birds or mammals they shall either be eaten or they could die from the Burmese killing it ut not eating letting another predator eat
