Most importantly, there were hardships for the people and animals living in the Everglades because of its water supply. The article “Past and Present: The Florida Everglades” proves this. The author of this article says that before, uncommon species, exotic species, and species that were in danger of extinction lived in the Everglades. Now, there are none of those animals living in the park. This is because of the water supply.
