After two years of the Avian Influenza, also known as the “Bird Flu” plague killing thousands of chicken, the virus is now under control. Farmers across America reported record-breaking numbers of chicken fatalities that was caused by the virus. As a result of the plague, restaurants and grocery stores across American have experienced a significant decline in chicken products. Restaurants also had to cut the amount of hours they served breakfast due to the shortage. In addition, the cost of eggs has double over the course of the plague.
