Direct-to-Consumer Sales – With online sales becoming more popular than ever, many consumers enjoy the ease of shopping from home and having products shipped to them directly. Many consumers are no bypassing second party stores and sourcing products directly from manufacturers. If this continues Best Buy’s online revenue share will greatly suffer. This could make the biggest impact on mobile phone sales. Best Buy remains competitive with an increase supply of the popular smart phones that are usually released annually. They also offer the same promotions as the direct manufactures offer, and many times they also add in store rebates or gift cards as incentives for customers.
