Behaviorism Perspective
Behaviorism emphasize the role of environmental factors(stimuli) in influencing behavior(reaction). Behaviorist believe that all behaviour is learned and shaped by the environment. The behaviorist perspective suggests that we learn from the environment in two different ways, namely;

• The Preoperational Stage: (Occurs from 2-7 years of age) At this stage, kids gain knowledge through pretend play but still struggle with logic and taking the point of view of other people. They also often struggle with understanding the ideal of constancy. For example, researchers may put the same amount of liquid in a tall and a less tall container, when asked which container has the most liquid, children at this stage would choose the taller container even though both containers have the same amount of liquid.
• The Concrete Operational Stage: (Occurs from 7-11years of age) Kids at this point of development begin to think more rationally. They often struggle with abstract concepts. At this point, children also become less egocentric and begin to think about how other people might think and
