I did not want it to linger in the paint once I added it. To begin with my painting I took an acrylic crafters paint and watered it down. I was hoping that, even though it was dry, it hadn’t dried enough to a point where I would not be able to do a Fresco style finish on it. After watering down the plaster, which I have learned from “Fresco Painting Modern Methods & Technique” I slowly added the paint. I began painting in the middle of spots due to the water running everywhere. I did not want the paint to run into an area that was not meant to be painted. I adjusted my design and made my concept work in a different way. I took off the arms and carved away parts of the form. Abstract design became my new art form to use in the project. However, I am not a person overly found of this art form, so I decided to combine it with an organic style as well. To complete this project I didn’t want one side abstract and one organic, so I offset it. This I feel ties in my two identities together. With my piece finally completed I find it quite fitting for what I was trying to achieve, and maybe later I will even try again to create my original design. They both speak of the issues they were base upon, just in a different
