Your Identity: Remembering Who You Are

The enemy wants to devalue our strength and magnifying our insecurities until they dominate how we see ourselves, disabling and disarming us from fighting back. The bible tells us, God has given us the same authority that Christ has. Now we must have confidence in who we are in Christ, knowing through him we can do all things (Phil. 4:13).

Is your outlook on yourself the same as Christ sees you?

Have there been a time when you did not look or act like Christ who says you are?

When you suffer from mistaken identity (not fully understanding or underestimating who you are), amnesia (You forget who you are), or you suffer an identity crisis (you act contrary to your Christ like nature, you are operating at half strength, you are making it easy for the enemy to defeat and distract you.

Have you ever had an identity issue?

When we take on the wrong identity willing or mistakenly, we give the enemy an open door to wreak havoc in our lives. Take some time to review who Christ says you are pg 58. You must fully understand your true identity in Christ, so you will stand and fight, knowing the strength of your inheritance is bigger than your enemy. The Apostle Paul tells us we are blessed with all spiritual blessings in the spiritual realm.

Instead we will rely on the power that’s entwined in our spiritual DNA, that has been bestowed upon us through the Holy Spirit. Then we will, without flinching, doubting or thinking twice about what we are able to do. We will stand tall, in confidence with our chest poked out, knowing we already have the victory.
