Amazon is an American electronic commerce and cloud computing company. Amazon is the largest internet based retailer. Walmart was surpassed by Amazon as the most valuable retailer. Product lines for Amazon include several media devices, apparel, baby products, consumer electronics, sports equipment, and more. Amazon’s marketplace allows for Amazon customers to buy and sell. EBay is an American worldwide corporation and e-commerce company. EBay provides consumer-to-consumer and business-to-consumer sales through the internet. EBay.com, an online auction website where businesses and people buy and sell a wide variety of goods and services worldwide, is managed by EBay. Online shopping is a form of e-commerce or electronic commerce, which allows for consumers to buy goods or services from a seller through the internet. Michael Aldrich invented online shopping in 1979. Shopping is more efficient online, then first hand traditional shopping because online stores are more convenient, more deals are offered and consumers are not as pressured to buy other products.
