They make the young conform to their own needs. The young whose averages fall below 70 are forced to go to trade school. This could cause for a child to not get their desired career path, as they may have been forced to go to trade school, because they aren’t performing as well as others in school(p87). This could have a negative impact on the young, and could lead to a variety of other problems, including depression, or other mental health issues. Furthermore, the adults restrict the young from doing what they enjoy. Saffron was a girl who enjoyed playing football, but because she was a girl, she was not allowed to participate during her former teams football game(p105-106). The adults also ignored the needs of the students. While administering the vaccines, the adults failed to check, or ignored protocols to see if the young needed more time prior to receiving the vaccine. This would be necessary if they were on other medications, or in a condition which would not allow for them to receive the vaccine (p121-122). This impacts the health and lives of many students, including Tyler Wilkins, who died from the vaccine(p170).
