The Mad Hatter is a character from Lewis Carroll’s book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. He is a member from the tea party, and also a witness when comes time for the trial. In the story Lewis Carroll only refers to him as “the Hatter” never “the Mad Hatter”.

He just sleeps more than a normal person or in this case an animal would. When he does awake he rambles off the first thing that comes to his mind that involves the conversation at the time. The story he tells Alice, the Hatter, and the March Hare confuses Alice. She asks him so many questions during it he finally falls back asleep.
I personally don’t think he realizes it is always tea time in Wonderland. He never once really mentions it. Some people say the reason he sleeps all the time is because time stands still. Dormice are known to sleep throughout the day, and it’s always daylight in Wonderland.
In conclusion, the Hatter, March Hare and the Dormouse are all mad. As for time standing still it was caused by the Hatter killing “him” or it. The Mad Hatter, March Hare, and the dormouse are all mad in this imaginary world in which time stands still of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. All in all Lewis Carroll is an amazing author, and the book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is a wonderful book for all ages. Even if everyone there is a little bit
