The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act are responsible for the most far-reaching reforms of the U.S. healthcare system since the 1965 passage of Medicare and Medicaid. Republicans were against the Affordable Care Act and the debate continues even after the Affordable Care Act passed with copious court trials to the law. In compliance with US News. com (2012) , our healthcare system intimidates our opulence in three major ways: it encumbrances the overall economy; it demoralizes individual businesses and the jobs they offer; and it saps the efficiency of American workers. These intimidations antagonize both those of us who have insurance and those of us who do not.
