But, it fails to recognize the faults that Obamacare has. Which, could negatively affect all classes in America. The video does not mention that everyone in the United States is going to pay more in taxes so the lower class and have better health insurance. The higher taxes would hurt the lower class and negatively affect healthcare reform. It also fails to mention that the healthcare a person may receive is not that good and it would not help them anyway. My primary source, Get lower out-of-pocket costs in the Health Insurance Marketplace, is effective in making healthcare reform seem like a favorable idea for the lower class. The friendly vibe given off by the colors and positive language comforts the viewer on healthcare reform. My secondary source, Life at the Top in America Isn't Just Better, It's Longer, is effective in telling how much different healthcare services were under the old healthcare system at the time of the article. The story of each class member emotionally affects the reader in which he/she feels sorry for the lower class member and then emotionally makes they want to support healthcare reform. Finally, my other secondary source, Healthcare Disparities: The Salience of Social Class, is effective in telling how lower class members become in the lower class. It is also effective on telling how these effects affect the health insurance they receive. The author states the reasons why lower class is unable to receive decent health insurance in a logical way which contrasts with the other secondary source that is more emotional which makes the reader want to support healthcare
